Police release body camera vision following Gold Coast crash
Police have released pictures from an officer's body worn camera of an alleged drunk driver, just moments after a car crashed into a Gold Coast fish and chip shop on Friday.
In the video, the woman appears relaxed, seemingly eating hot chips, while detectives try to interview her.
It's alleged she was slurring her words as police questioned her passenger.
The alleged drunk driver ploughed into the Broadbeach Waters business yesterday, narrowly missing a customer.
Police claim the woman gave a blood alcohol reading more than five times over the legal limit.
A 51-year-old is expected to be charged with high-range drink driving and willful damage.
