Man stumbles into cafe after being repeatedly stabbed in 'dispute over ex'

Diners have helped a bleeding man who stumbled in a Logan café after being repeatedly stabbed in the street in Queensland.

The 38-year-old man managed to make his way inside the Logan café around 12.30pm on Tuesday afternoon, after what’s reportedly claimed to be a dispute over a woman.

Café owner Michelle Wooster said it was a horrible ordeal for all those inside.

“He was in a really bad way, he lost a lot of blood, well was losing a lot of blood,” she said.

“I just rang an ambulance, we got some towels.”

It’s believed the man was driving a ute when another vehicle allegedly carrying his ex and her new partner pulled up behind him in Meadowbrook.

Witnesses say the second car followed the ute for some distance before the two vehicles came to a stop.

It’s there that witnesses say the man from the second vehicle allegedly got out and repeatedly stabbed the victim.

Logan detectives have arrested a 48-year-old man and allegedly found a knife dumped in his front yard.

The 39-year-old victim remains in Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

According to 7 News, the victim is expected to undergo surgery tonight.
