Suspicious blaze at hay processing plant causes $11 million in damages

A suspicious fire has engulfed a shed at a hay processing plant in South Australia, causing an estimated $11 million in damage.

Fire crews were alerted to a blaze at the plant on Balaklava Road in Bowmans just after 2am on Saturday.

The blaze that destroyed a shed has been deemed suspicious, a spokeswoman for the Country Fire Service says.

It's now expected that the fire won't be fully extinguished for two to three days. Source: 7 News

It is expected the suspiciously lit blaze now may stay alight for days as fire fighters look to control the area.

Eleven CFS crews remain at the scene.
