Investigation underway after man's body found in Melbourne home

A man’s body has been discovered in a Melbourne home, with an investigation now underway.

Neighbours say a man, aged in his 60s, lived alone at the property in Seddon in Melbourne’s west.

The man’s body was found in the Edwards Street unit around 4.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.

It remains unclear who found the man.

A neighbour told 7 News they saw the man four days ago, and described him as a man who liked to keep to himself.

Homicide squad detectives are at the Seddon scene, trying to piece together what caused the man’s death.
