Surfers rescue two people after boat capsizes
Two people have been rescued by surfers after their boat capsized at the mouth of Tallebudgera Creek, on the Gold Coast on Monday morning.
A spokesperson for Surf Life Saving Queensland said it is believed a small tinny was attempting to cross the Tallebudgera bar when it overturned and washed up near Burleigh Hill.
The Westpac lifesaver helicopter was tasked to assist.
A helicopter crewman was winched down to assess the situation.

Lifeguards also attended on jetskis.
The spokesperson for Surf Life Saving Queensland said it is thought one person had sustained superficial injuries.
