Infant dies after mother's car hits pram at funeral
A baby boy has died after his pram was tragically run over by his mother leaving a funeral south of Brisbane.
The shocking incident unfolded at Woodridge around 1.50pm on Friday afternoon as the mother went to leave the funeral service held for her brother.
It’s believed the woman briefly hopped into her four-wheel-drive to turn the air-conditioning on to cool the car down before putting her seven-month-old baby inside.

But after turning on the ignition, the Mitsubishi Pajero went into reverse, mounted the footpath and hit the pram, which the mother had left in the shade.
"(The mother) is distraught and is being cared for by her husband and close family," Queensland Police Senior Sergeant Tony Jackson said.
"It's a terrible tragedy and a timely reminder for parents who have children to ensure they know exactly where they are."

Paramedics rushed the baby boy from the St Paul’s Drive scene to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in a serious condition.
Sadly, the little boy died on arrival.
Senior Sergeant Tony Jackson said the boy's mother was the sole occupant of the vehicle and wasn't physically hurt in the devastating crash.
The woman and her family are now assisting police with inquiries as the Forensic Crash Unit investigates.
