Woman posts video of 'intoxicated' man abusing her on Virgin flight

A young woman has released video of the moment she claims she was verbally abused by a man while aboard a Virgin Airlines flight.

Tiani Nicholson, 22, wrote she was on a flight in Queensland on Christmas Eve when she says she was abused by an intoxicated man for over an hour.

"Just wanted to express my complete and utter disgust," Ms Nicholson wrote in a Facebook post. "The man filmed was sat across the aisle from me on my flight this afternoon - whether he was drunk before he boarded or just had a painfully obnoxious attitude in general, I am not sure."

Tiani Nicholson said the man was loud and abusive towards her.

"From the moment he sat down, he wasn't phased by the fact he was surrounded by an aeroplane full of people that probably didn't want to listen to him swearing at the top of his lungs.

"He made multiple attempts to talk/yell at me across the aisle, I politely told him I didn't really feel like talking."

She wrote the man became abusive when she refused his advances and began calling her obscene names and referring to parts of her anatomy.

The man can be heard making several lewd comments in the video.

Ms Nicholson claims that flight staff did not move to stop the man but instead continued to bring him drinks, which prompted her to film his outburst.

"He proceeded to yell about me being an 'uptight Taylor Swift looking *****, with one of those ***** ******** that think they're too good to sleep with anyone because they're a ****," she wrote.

She posted a video of the man, which does not show the phrases mentioned, but claimed he toned his language down once he was aware he was being filmed.

In the video the man asks Ms Nicholson if she is filming him and then remarks to his friend "she ****** filmed me on the big fat apple thing she's got...she’s like she wants this **** in her mouth."

Ms Nicholson writes on her Facebook post that she was "disgusted" that airline staff did not intervene in the altercation.
