Fresh search for missing Melbourne mother

There’s a fresh search underway for missing Melbourne mother Karen Ristevski, who was last seen one month ago.

Ms Ristevski went missing after an argument with her husband over money on June 29.

On Friday police launched a new search of the Maribyrnong River, hopeful of finding the 47-year-old’s body.

Officers have previously searched the river, but the new search started near the Anglers Tavern after a tip off from the public.

The river location is about five kilometres from where Ms Ristevski was last seen.

Both Ms Ristevski’s husband and son in-law have been questioned by police over her disappearance. But there hasn’t been any sight of the Avondale Heights mother.
