Violent home invasion believed to be a 'targeted' bikie attack
Police believe a feud between rival bikie gangs is behind a violent home invasion that saw a gun fired inside a Western Sydney house.
Security footage recorded four hooded men approaching the Shalvey property in May, where they kicked their way through the front door.
Once inside, they forced a 51-year-old man to the ground and fired a single shot into the television set before grabbing the keys to a Holden Commodore.
The rest of the family, including a nine-year-old girl, were also home but remained unharmed, police said.
Two of the suspects left the property on foot while the other two men allegedly drove the car to Oakhurst, where officers found the vehicle burnt out.
Police believe the incident was targeted and have released the footage to the public in the hopes of identifying the men.
Two weeks ago, raids were conducted on a property in Blackett where police uncovered a number of items believed to be linked to the invasion.
Detectives seized cash, steroids, laptops, Rebels OMCG patches and a stolen motorcycle. A bag was also located near the home containing a shotgun, a loaded pistol and ammunition.
All items have been seized for examination.
Three of the men are described as being of Caucasian appearance and the fourth is believed to be Pacific Islander/Maori.
