Woman watches live-stream of robbery on her mobile phone

A Queensland woman who watched a live stream of thieves raiding her home has released the video to expose and shame the suspects.

Lana Davis had $20,000 worth of jewellery stolen in broad daylight, by two men dressed in hoodies and wearing gloves.

Ms Davis was at work when she received a security alert on her phone, and watched on in horror as the strangers walked through her house and started carrying out her belongings.

"I was pretty shocked .. I was shaking a lot,” she told 7 News. "We have worked hard for what we've got and they've just come in and taken in all.”

With multiple cameras set up around the house, the men soon realised they were being recorded – but not before a perfect mug shot of the men is snapped.

Ms Davis called triple-0 from her office and spoke to police while she watched them taking alcohol, electrical goods and even her safe.

"I could give them exactly what they were wearing, what they looked like,” she said.

The 25-year-old bride-to-be is getting married in less than a fortnight, and almost had her wedding rings stolen by the men.

Thankfully, they dropped them on their way out the door.

"That was my main concern… about the wedding rings… that would have ruined the day for us,” she said.

Ms Davis said she set up the cameras because of the amount of crime being committed and is now urging others to do the same.

She has printed hundreds of copies of the security camera photos and plans to drop them in letterboxes in the area to warn her neighbours and see if they recognise the faces.

A reward is being offered to anyone with information that might help catch the intruders.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
