Driver killed in car accident at South Australia's Barossa Valley

A driver has died in a car accident in South Australia’s Barossa Valley.

It is the first fatal crash in the state this long weekend.

The two car accident occurred just after 3.20pm on Barossa Valley Way near Seppeltsfield and Tanunda, 7 News understands.

Major Crash investigators are at the scene.

The accident comes after one of the safest Easter long weekends on the roads in recent years.

The death brings the national road toll to five for the weekend to date.
