Miami doctor risks losing her job as violent video goes viral

A Miami doctor risks losing her job after a YouTube video of her assaulting an Uber driver went viral.

The 30 –year-old Miami woman Anjali Ramkissoon was filmed attacking an Uber driver and throwing the man's belongings into the street when he refused to give her a ride on Sunday night.

It is believed Ramkissoon got into the Uber without a reservation on Sunday night. When the driver asked her to leave, she became angry and belligerent.

The video shows her punching and kicking the driver, before getting into the passenger seat of the car and throwing documents, a phone, and other possessions out into the street, including a pair of scissors.

The video footage was taken and uploaded by Juan Cinco, who had ordered the car to take him home from the Mary Brickell Village in Miami, Florida.

Information posted with the clip explains Ramkissoon came 'out of nowhere' and climbed into the backseat of the Uber.

At one point she also yells at him; 'Get the f*** in the car, you piece of f***ing disgusting s***'.

Mr Cinco said the driver initially pretended to phone the police, asking them to remove the woman from his car, which prompted Ramkissoon to reach into the front seat, grab his keys and start to walk away.

This was the point at which Mr Cinco started filming, he said.

It is believed that when Ramkissoon was put in a police car she started crying, apologising, and claiming that she would lose her medical license.

The fourth-year neurology resident has been 'removed from all clinical duties' and placed on leave, Jackson Health System said in statement.

Jackson has launched an internal investigation, the outcome of which will determine whether any disciplinary action will be taken, ‘up to and including termination', the Miami Herald reported.

Miami police officers responded to the scene but a spokesperson said there was no report and there would be no investigation.
