Video shows Picton Bikie killer's approach
New witnesses have told of the unflinching brutality of yesterday's execution style murder of a Rebels bikie at Picton, NSW.
A video of the killer arriving for the deadly showdown has also been released.
It shows a light blue Audi A4 pulling into a carpark at 12:11pm on Wednesday, just minutes before the mayhem began.
The driver steps out with a water bottle in his left hand – while also tucking something into the right side of his shorts.
He then walks north into the town.
At a service station 400 metres up the road, this man pulled out a pistol and shot Darren Wallace a local leather shop owner.
“He just shot him. Straight in the chest,” said Renato Moolhuyzen.
Wallace's last words were: "Don't do it. It's not worth it."
"I saw two blokes just standing there in front of an ambulance that was waiting to get some fuel and then I just heard the big guy yelling out, 'Don't do it" and the other guy just pulled a gun on him and shot him in the chest, " said Mr Moolhuyzen.
Another witness thought the men were about to have a fist fight.
"The guy said mate, it's not worth it. And he put up his hands, and the shooter just pulled out his gun without hesitation and shot him," said Caleb Ray.
"The big guy dropped, and the shooter just calmly turned around and just started walking away. And he went off down the street,” added Moolhuyzen.
With paramedics there on the spot, Mr Moolhuyzen followed the gunman down Argyle Street - but when he got to the corner of nearby Menangle Street, the shooter had disappeared.
He had apparently hidden behind St Mark's Church. There, in a graveyard, he shot himself, falling into a creek.
The men were seen arguing outside a local pub, the George Inn, before their final confrontation.
The local police station is just across the road so officers were immediately on the scene. Within 20 minutes, there were dozens more.
They say both men were members of the Rebels bikie gang.
Wallace was the club's sergeant-at-arms: the ‘enforcer’. But also known as a ‘gentle giant’: a man who lived for his children, aged 6 and 9.
