The 20 most wanted men and women in Australia right now

Australian police have announced their hit list for 2015 – 20 fugitives that are on the run and on the loose in our communities.

They’re wanted for sex crimes, drug crimes, murders, armed robberies and more horrible crimes.

They’re people who could be anywhere, some may have even crossed states to evade capture.

SCROLL DOWN FOR THE FULL LIST

Today police announced they’ve teamed up with Crimestoppers Australia for Operation Roam, a campaign that calls on the public to help find runaway criminals.

Crimestoppers chairman Bryan Roach said a list released by police featured 20 fugitives who were suspected of serious crimes such as murder, assault, armed robbery, rape, drug trafficking and more.

“They need to be accountable for their alleged offences,” he said.

Tips from the public that lead to the arrest of any fugitives are worth $1000.

Police warn some of the wanted may have assumed false identities and could be living a normal life in any Australian suburb.

Queensland Police Assistant Commissioner Paul Stewart urged the public to call 000 immediately if they suspect they’ve come across a fugitive.

Each police state is currently working together to track these people down.

Operation Roam runs until August 28.
