Sisters call police from tiny bathroom closet during home invasion

Two brave teenage sisters were forced to hide in a tiny bathroom closet as they called police during a home invasion.

The Nashville sisters aged 13 and 16 were alone in their home when they heard a bang on their front door.

When they looked out the window, they saw two men dressed in black who were trying to break in.

The older sister quickly called 911 as they ran into her parents’ bathroom to hide.

"There's two men outside my house. I think they're trying to break in. Me and my sister are home alone," she told the dispatcher.

Still on the line, the sisters stuffed themselves into a small bathroom cabinet as they waited for police to arrive.

"We are in the very back in my parent's bedroom bathroom," the older sister said during the phone call, "Please hurry!"

When police arrived one man fled in a car and the other locked himself in the room where the girls were hiding.

Both men were eventually arrested.

WKRN TV reported police found musical instruments, a computer and other items in the men’s car.

Both were charged aggravated burglary.

"You never think this is actually gonna happen to you," the older sister told WKRN TV reporters.

"I'm, you know, most glad that I could help, you know, capture two guys that could've done worse”.
