Defying gravity: ‘We're gonna make porn in space!’
The ‘sexploration’ race has officially begun.
Bored of standard bedroom shoots, entertainment company Pornhub has launched a mission to make the first ever adult film in space.
The video website has teamed up with top ranking adult studio Digital Playground to take the porn industry to new heights.
They're calling on fans to help raise US$3.4m to fund the space expedition.
Pornhub Vice President Corey Price said the film is designed to push the boundaries.
“This will be a grand experiment in learning how intercourse works after penetrating the Earth’s atmosphere,” he said.
“Filming will commence upon takeoff and as the ship climbs, so too will the lovemaking.
“As soon as the ship reaches its maximum altitude there will be weightlessness for at least a few minutes. Our actors will be having sex and climaxing within that time frame — ideally, of course.”
Eva Lovia has been cast as the leading lady in the film, with Johnny Sins her accompanying 'sextronaut'.
The pair will undergo six months of training before taking off for the mission.
“The bragging rights alone are worth it,” Ms Lovia said.
“We don’t know if any astronauts have had sex in space, so we’d be the first to publicly admit it.”
Production will blast off in 2016.
