Four teenagers injured after car crash in Sydney's south west

Four teenagers have been injured in a car crash in Sydney's south west on Boxing Day.

A 15-year-old girl suffered back and kidney injuries when the sedan she was travelling in with four friends crashed at Leumeah on Friday afternoon.

The girl was flown to Westmead Children's Hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.

A 16-year-old girl suffered internal injuries and fractures to her wrist and ribs and a 16-year-old boy received cuts and abrasions.

The 17-year old p-plate driver was also taken to hospital with injuries but refused to be treated while another 16-year-old boy escape without injuries.

New South Wales Police are investigating the crash which occured near the intersection of Pembroke Road and Burrendong Road and have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
