WA woman pleads guilty over home invasion

A Perth woman has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a home invasion in which she armed herself with a knife, detained a man and seriously injured him.

Karen Margaret Edwards appeared briefly in the West Australian Supreme Court on Monday via video link from Bandyup Women's Prison.

She pleaded guilty to charges including inflicting grievous bodily harm and unlawfully detaining a man on August 4 last year after entering the home.

Co-offender David Gordon Nash previously pleaded guilty to similar offences, while a third person is still negotiating with prosecutors.

Edwards and Nash will both appear in court on February 4 for a sentencing hearing.
