Woman tortured with taser, police say
A Queensland woman was allegedly tortured with a taser following a drug-related dispute with two men.
It's alleged the 20-year-old woman was held against her will after getting into a car with two male associates at Jimboomba, south of Brisbane, about 2pm on Saturday.
Police say the woman was burnt on the legs with a taser and cut on the ear with a knife following a dispute about drugs and money.
The men allegedly stole jewellery from the woman.
She was treated at Beaudesert Hospital for burns to her leg and a cut to her ear.
Two men, aged 21 and 23, were charged after police searched an address in a nearby suburb.
Both men were charged with torture, extortion, armed robbery, assault occasioning bodily harm and unlawful possession of a weapon.
They were due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.
