Man electrocuted in Sydney drug shed

A man has apparently been electrocuted in his drug-crop shed in Sydney's southwest.

Police discovered the 64-year-old's body amid a cannabis harvesting set-up at the back of a property in Bringelly on Thursday night.

The shed was fitted out with cultivation equipment and tools, and also contained a number of homegrown cannabis plants.

Early indications suggest the man was electrocuted while handling equipment.

Police say the electricity had been illegally connected to the shed.

It's thought the man's body remained undiscovered for two or more days.

A post mortem will be conducted and investigations are continuing.
