A man has been shot in the lower body in outer Melbourne.
Emergency crews were called to Heyington Circle in Narre Warren about 5pm on Wednesday after a man suffered a gunshot wound to his lower body.
The 37-year-old was taken by ambulance to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Another man, 42, was arrested and is assisting police with their inquiries.
