Couple stabbed on Sydney's north shore
A man has been arrested following the stabbing of a couple on Sydney's north shore.
Emergency services were called to a unit block on the Pacific Highway in Lane Cove North just before 1pm on Friday to find a man and woman with stab wounds, police say.
They have been taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for treatment.
It's believed the woman is in a serious condition with stabs wounds to her back, while the man is stable and has wounds to his arm, Fairfax Radio reports.
Police have arrested a man, who is helping with inquiries.
A crime scene has been established and is being examined by specialist officers.
