Police operation fails to find dangerous fugitive

Police say they are satisfied dangerous fugitive Rodney Clavell is not in either of the two houses checked by heavily armed police this afternoon.

They has set up a command post at Kensington Oval, saying they believed Clavell was inside a house nearby, but a check of two houses failed to locate him.

A public alert was issued by police yesterday about Clavell after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

In the alert, police warned the public that Clavell is considered dangerous and he should not be approached.
