A motorcyclist has died in a serious crash at Blakeview, in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.

Police say a truck and motorcycle crashed at the intersection of Craigmore Rd and Village Tce just before 3pm this afternoon.

The motorcyclist, believed to be aged in his late 20s, died at the scene.

A woman pillion passenger on the motorbike has been taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with critical injuries.

Police say the intersection will be closed for some time while they investigate the crash.
