Landlord defends renting out apartments in exchange for sex
A father has defended his decision to offer women a place to stay in exchange for sex, insisting he is "not a pervert".
The landlord, identified as Simon, from the UK, revealed to ITV show This Morning on Tuesday that he actively seeks women to engage in a relationship which partly involves a 'sex for rent' arrangement.
He said that he had entered three relationships with women who had responded to his adverts online.
“I’m not a pervert. It’s a relationship, but it’s an arranged relationship," he said.
“I’m seeking an arrangement. I’m very honest about what I say."
Simon insisted his offer on Craigslist was far more than just a place to stay for free.
"[Free accommodation] is just a part of it, it's a fraction of what I'm offering, I'm offering the life more than anything, I'm offering an opportunity," he said.
“I’ve been married, I have a family but I find that modern relationships don’t work.”

He said he has been approached about the arrangement by 16-year-olds but has referred them to Social Services.
“It’s an arrangement between two adults, I’m not looking for a 16-year-old... I want someone of my own age," he said.
The landlord disputed the show's host Holly Willoughby's claims his behaviour was illegal saying: "I'm doing nothing wrong."
