Hardware recycling shed ablaze on Hobart's eastern shore
A fire has destroyed stock at a large industrial shed in Hobart's eastern suburbs.
Firefighters were called to a shed on Droughty Point Road at Rokeby where fire had taken hold in a large recycling shed.
The owner of the building was working at the site at the time.
About one third of the contents of the paper and cardboard recycling warehouse Taswaste was destroyed.
The fire was not being treated as suspicious.
Three fire engines and their crews were mopping up.
The owner of the warehouse was helping firefighters remove burnt cardboard from the building.
