WATCH: Stolen car crashes into tree at 110km/h

Surveillance cameras have captured the moment a stolen car slammed into a tree at high-speed.

The vehicle was travelling at more than 110km/h when it crashed and flipped in the US town of Superior, Michigan.

Another man followed the trio who fled the car.

They remain on the run.

Michigan Live reports the vehicle clipped Melissa Frutos's car parked in the street before the driver lost control.

"Fortunately, the neighbour’s children who are usually outside during the day playing were not out, it's a busy neighbourhood for walkers, joggers and dogs so it's very fortunate no one outside of the culprits were injured," she said.
