WATCH: Melbourne cyclist hit by moving car lands safely on roof
Incredible footage has surfaced of a Melbourne cyclist managing to escape being hit by a moving car unharmed, landing safely on its roof.
Footage shows the bike rider traveling down Malvern Road, a major road in Hawksburn in Melbourne's inner south east, before he was cut off by a car turning right at the intersection of Williams Rd.
The amazing landing was captured on dash cam by another vehicle.
Clearly shaken by the incident, the cyclist remains on top of the car while it turns the corner and pulls safely over to the side of the road.
The remarkable incident didn't go unnoticed, with an onlooker coming to the aid of the cyclist to help him off the roof of the car.
The driver of the vehicle also got out to speak with the cyclist.
