Trio use quad bike to ram raid Queensland business
Police are hunting three thieves who used a quad bike to ram raid a Queensland business, stealing $2000 worth of goods.
CCTV captured the moment the trio unsuccessfully try to drive into the doors of the Fast Cash Pawn Converters store in Logan.
But after a few attempts, the door comes crashing down at the Kingston Road store around 1.30am on Friday.
“It’s not unheard of, but it is unusual,” detective senior sergeant Scott Furlong said.
Two of the hooded thieves run through the store, stealing small items like jewellery before shoving the loot into a bag.
The third person stands watch, before moving the quad bike into position with all three then speeding away.
“That’s a month’s profit straight down the drain,” the owners said.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information on the smash and grab to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
