Roosters star one of three injured in mass brawl at charity party

A charity fundraiser on Sydney's Northern Beaches spiralled into a massive brawl with Roosters player Dylan Napa one of three people injured.

The Roosters star was taken to Mona Vale hospital with minor injuries following the fight at Palm Beach.

A 33-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were also hurt when the star-studded charity function descended into a brawl hours after it was due to finish.

All three have been discharged as police investigate what sparked the violence.

Officers spent Sunday at the scene, seizing evidence including a large kitchen knife.

Neighbours say they heard a woman screaming and the sound of bottles breaking around 3am.

There were 600 people at the luxury Palm Beach mansion for a summer party, raising money for the Vasculitis Foundation

Organiser Theo Chambers, whose father is the Chambers Cellars founder, said there was nothing to link the violence to his function.

The Roosters have advised the NRL integrity unit.
