Man and child injured following reported gas bottle explosion
A man and child have been injured following a reported gas bottle explosion at a Gold Coast home.
A spokesperson for the Queensland Ambulance Service said both patients were transported in a stable condition to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
One patient is thought to have sustained small burns to the left arm and face.
The other is thought to have small burns to the hand and a minor abrasion to the head.

Emergency crews were called to the property at Runaway Bay at about 2.27pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Investigations are ongoing.
