Missing Gold Coast toddler found safe

UPDATE: A two-year-old Gold Coast boy believed to have been taken by a man known him has been found safe in Coolangatta.

Police sent an urgent appeal for information on the whereabouts of the toddler who was taken from a Mudgeeraba home and was believed to have been at “significant risk”.

The two-year-old boy was last seen leaving the property on Julie Way in the company of his 43-year-old grandfather, who is believed to have a serious medical condition.

The men was driving a red 1993 Toyota Landcruiser 4WD with Queensland number plates.

The child is described as Caucasian with auburn hair and green eyes.

The man is described as Caucasian, about 182cm tall with brown hair and a proportionate build.
