Disqualified learner driver crashes into Sydney Airport fence

A disqualified learner driver has been charged after she crashed a car through a fence at Sydney Airport on Saturday morning.

The woman’s Mazda 3 crashed into the fence along Airport Drive about 12.40am.

The 21-year-old driver had three female passengers with her at the time of the crash.

Paramedics assessed all involved, however none were found to be seriously injured.

One passenger was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.

The driver was breath tested at the scene, she was found to have a blood alcohol of 0.042.

The woman was charged with driving with a special range PCA and driving while disqualified.

She will face Waverley Local Court on May 25.
