How the royals plan to celebrate Prince George's second birthday

Prince George is about to turn two and his parents have shared how they plan to celebrate.

A palace source told People Magazine Prince George, Princess Kate, Prince William and 11-week-old Princess Charlotte will spend the day in private in Norfolk.

The family will be at their 10-bedroom Anmer Hall, on Queen Elizabeth's Sandringham estate.

The source said the boy his dad calls ‘a little monkey’ will not only be the centre of attention but will be chatting away to family and friends.

"He was heard talking at Princess Charlotte’s christening," the royal source told people.

The family have also released another intimate family photo of George sharing a laugh with his dad during play time.

Kensington Palace shared the photo ahead of the birthday celebrations on Twitter, along with the hashtag #HappyBirthdayPrinceGeorge.
