Knife bandit robs liquor store

A Bunbury liquor store employee was threatened by a man wielding a knife last night.

The armed robbery at the Spencer Street business occurred about 7.20pm when the offender approached the staff member and threatened him with the knife before demanding money.

The offender fled on foot after being given some cash.

South-West detectives have called for the public to come forward with any information that can assist in their investigation.

The offender is described as about 30 years old, 183cm tall, with a medium to large build, and light skin.

He was wearing blue jeans and a black hooded jumper.
