House fire arson probe
Arson Squad is investigating a fire that destroyed a house in Bedfordale yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Albany Highway property at about 4pm after receiving reports a house was engulfed in flames.
It took 40 firefighters about an hour to control the blaze, which caused $500,000 damage.
No one was home at the time of the blaze.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage and is being treated as suspicious.
