Two charged with murdering man found dead in gutter in Adelaide

Two men have been charged with murdering a man who was found dead in a gutter on a street in Adelaide's north-western suburbs.

A 24-year-old man from Ottoway and a 23-year-old from South Brighton were arrested on Wednesday night.

A passing motorist spotted the body lying in the road adjacent to Hanson Road and Thirteenth Avenue at Woodville North in the early hours of Wednesday and alerted police.

Police said the victim was aged in his 40s but have not revealed the nature of his injuries.

Inspector Matt Nairne said the man was missing some clothes on the lower half of his body while other items of clothing were found next to him.

The two men have been refused bail and are due to appear at Port Adelaide Magistrates Court.
