Community radio licensed to go

Bunbury Community Radio is set to hit the airwaves on 103.7FM after being awarded a licence to broadcast from the Australian Communications and Media Authority.

For the past three years the Bunbury Community Radio board has been working to get the station on the air and welcomed the news of the licence.

“This is great news for the Board and the community of Bunbury,” BCR chairman Graham Harvey said.

“Things are finally coming together after three years of planning and hard work, we are now working towards broadcasting on the 103.7FM frequency by next March.”

The station has also launched its new branding, featuring a new logo.
