Man threatened with machete in NSW robbery

A man has been threatened in his northern NSW home by a pair of thieves wielding a machete and a baseball bat.

The man was asleep in his caravan at Loadstone, near Kyogle, when the men walked in at about 4am Sunday and threatened him.

They demanded money before stealing a tablet computer, a games console, a chainsaw, mobile phones and cash, running off from Gradys Creek Road toward the Summerland Way, where a car was heard leaving.

Neither the victim nor two boys, aged seven and 10 and asleep in the caravan at the time, were injured.

The first man was described as being Caucasian, in his 20s, 185cm tall and of medium build. He had his face covered and was wearing dark clothing.

The second man was described as Caucasian, 175-180cm tall and of stocky build. He also had his face covered and was wearing dark clothing.
