Woman faces court over 18 drug charges

A 42-year-old Yalyalup woman is due to face court over 18 drug charges.

Busselton police were conducting a routine traffic stop on Bussell Highway in Capel on the morning of Tuesday, July 15, when they stopped and searched a Holden Commodore sedan.

During the search, officers allegedly found methylamphetamine which they believed was due to be sold in the South West area.

The vehicle was seized and the woman was charged with 18 counts of offer or supply a prohibited drug and possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply.

She has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Bunbury Magistrates Court on Monday, August 4.
