On the run killer arrested in Woolloomooloo

Wanted killer on the run after 'removing anklet'

A convicted killer who had been on the run for almost a month has been arrested in Sydney.

Police were forced to use capsicum spray to detain Scott David Lynn after he allegedly resisted arrest.

Local officers on patrol in Woolloomooloo spotted the 37-year-old on Talbot Lane, around 4pm this afternoon.

It's alleged Lynn removed his electronic tracking device at his home in Eastlakes on 19 April, and had not been seen since.

Lynn was convicted of manslaughter for stabbing a warehouse worker to death in Parramatta's busy Church Street Mall in 2006.

He has been charged with failing to comply with an extended supervision order, and refused bail to face Central Local Court tomorrow.
