Laser allegedly shone at cop chopper
A 27-year-old man allegedly shone a laser at a police helicopter on patrol on Friday night.
A police spokeswoman said a Hamilton Hill man would be summonsed after he allegedly shone a green laser at the cabin of the Police Helicopter while it was carrying out patrols of the Fremantle area at around 11.35pm on Friday night.
"Police on the ground were directed to a house on Bourbon Street, where a number of people were questioned and a laser light seized," the police spokeswoman said.
The man will be charged with cause fear with object or substance to people in conveyances or others and will appear in court at a later date.
