Bruce and Denise Morcombe spread Daniel's school safety messgae

Bruce and Denise Morcombe are taking a new safety message to school children now Daniel's killer is behind bars.

The courageous couple is back at work, more determined than ever to protect youngsters.

Around 10 minutes from where Daniel was taken 10 years ago, his memory lives on.

The Morcombes now know how Brett Peter Cowan lured Daniel into his car before murdering him.

They're using what they heard in court to strengthen their child safety training.

Today's lesson at Eudlo State School was their first session since the trial.

"He didn't make it on to the bus, he didn't make it to the shops and very sadly he never made it home," Bruce said.

"Daniel was just a kid exactly like them, and then within an hour of leaving home he found himself in a situation he could not control.

"We should recognise our body signals and our body telling us that something bad is happening.

"You feel sick, unable to talk or you shake. Body clues can be a way your body alerts you to danger.

"We really enjoy going to the schools. We've got a couple more booked for this week."

In fact, Bruce and Denise are fully booked until 2016. By then Daniel's killer, Brett Cowan, should've had his appeal heard.

But nothing is distracting them couple their mission.

The Dance for Daniel fundraiser has sold out.

"The foundation's had something like 10-thousand emails in the last 2 weeks. The office is very, very busy with lots of requests."
