Friends honour mum and daughter
Neighbours bowed their heads at a ceremony last night for a mother and daughter found dead in their Warwick home at the weekend.
About 40 neighbours last night gathered outside the home of the two women, laying flowers, lighting candles and laying two red crosses bearing the names of Maureen, 67, and Tamara Horstman, 26.
Neighbours hugged and shed tears as they paused to reflect on the tragedy which shattered the quiet suburban on Sunday morning.
They paid tribute to the two women.
Carolyn, who organised the gathering, said she felt it was important that neighbours, who have been left reeling after the tragedy, came together to pay their respects.
"I did it to say we care," she said through tears.
"It's one way of expressing our sorrow together and to accept the loss as a street.
"It wasn't their time to go. I felt it was important to do something for them spiritually."

A 19-year-old man has been charged over the women's murders.
Lesley Jonathon Cameron appeared in court yesterday. He was not required to enter a plea and did not apply for bail.
