Olympian Nathan Baggaley arrested in major amphetamine bust

Olympian Nathan Baggaley has appeared in court in Lismore in northern New South Wales today on drugs charges.

The champion kayaker was arrested at Tweed Heads on Friday as part of a major amphetamine investigation.

He is facing seven charges relating to the alleged production and distribution.

His lawyer told the court the 37-year-old will plead not guilty.

He did not apply for bail.

The case has been adjourned until next month.
