Groth destroys racquet in epic Wimbledon snap
Aussie tennis star Sam Groth has come up with a novel new way to smash a racquet in a sensational outburst at Wimbledon.
Groth was serving to stay in the third set of his doubles clash alongside Robert Lindstedt against Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut when he double faulted on break point.
The frustrated Newcombe Medallist dished out some swift justice to his racquet, snapping it clean in half over his knee.
As impressive as the incredible feat of strength was, he was still hit with a code violation warning by the umpire.
To make matters worse, he went down in four sets.
