Eels fans in touching tribute to Nathan Peats
Parramatta fans rose as one in the ninth minute of their clash against the Rabbitohs to farewell their departing No.9 Nathan Peats.
Their young hooker was the big name casualty of the club's salary cap scandal, released to the Gold Coast Titans so the Eels could resume playing for competition points.
As the clock ticked past the nine-minute mark on Friday night as Pirtek Stadium, fans stood and applauded, with banners and placards sporting the No.9 paying tribute to the sacrificed star.
They did so for a whole minute in amazing scenes.
