Triumphant Andy Murray cops a cheeky double bird

We've all been there. Maybe it was when you lost 10-0 at five-a-side football, or capitulated 6-0 6-0 to an average tennis player.

You just want to tell your tormentors to kindly 'do one'.

And in a manner of speaking, that is precisely what Tommy Robredo did after losing to Andy Murray in three sets in the Valencia Open.

After blowing five match points in a loss to Murray a month ago in the Shenzhen Open final, the 32-year-old Spaniard had revenge on his mind.

However tennis can be a supremely cruel game and Robredo again saw five match points slip through his grasp as Murray eventually won 3-6 7-6 (9) 7-6 (8) in a fairly epic encounter.

As Murray strode across for the traditional handshake, Robredo just couldn't resist giving him two fingers.

"It was an amazing match, and you have to enjoy it," Robredo told reporters after the match.

"Unfortunately someone has to win and it was decided by a few balls."
