Punter pulls off amazing 10-leg multi-bet on McIlroy's win

It seems it’s not just Rory McIlroy’s father profiting from the Northern Irishman’s British Open victory.

According to The Sport Bible, one amazingly lucky punter has won €74,000 – or about $115,000 – from two multi-bets with 10 different legs each.

The punter needed McIlroy to take out the British Open to complete each multi, which included a range of sports from the FIFA World Cup, tennis, horse racing and the golf.

The first multi came in at odds of 1,521/1 and returned €30,400 (NZ$ 47,200).

The second came in at odds of 2,175/1 and returned €43,500 (NZ$ 67,600).

And to top all of that off, he’s not done yet.

The same punter has another 10-leg multi running, and it all rides on McIlroy again.

If Rory wins the US PGA Championship, he’ll pocket another €30,400 (AU$ 47,200).
