Cricket through the eyes of Adam Gilchrist

Ever wondered what it's like to be Australian cricket legend Adam Gilchrist? Well, check out this amazing GoPro footage of him at Lord's.

The GoPro camera was attached to Gilchrist's helmet while he was playing in the bicentenary match between the MCC and the Rest of the World at the home of cricket.

Try not to flinch as as fellow Aussie Shaun Tait bowls at full pelt right at your screen.

Gilchrist didn't - he hit Tait, who once clocked a 160km/h delivery in a One Day International at Lord’s in 2010, for two boundaries despite the ball coming straight for his head.

The footage shows Gilly, 42, driving Tait down the ground and then reacting quickly enough to hit a short ball away into the leg-side, as well as some fascinating audio.

"This is fun," Gilchrist said. "Good cricket all round."

MCC went on to win the game by seven wickets despite Gilchrist's Rest of the World side posting 7-293.
